Grace and Gagan approached Never Ending Ideas to plan and coordinate their wedding reception to take place in Kuala Lumpur. Grace is from Malaysia and Gagan is from Sydney. They were married in Sydney in September and wanted to have a reception in Kuala Lumpur.
Their theme was Rustic Indian Sunset. Grace wanted her wedding to have the shades of sunset with Indian elements. Keeping in mind her wedding theme and sticking with a realistic budget, we used florals available in Malaysia in her colour scheme. We also used warm lighting to create a sunset ambience in the ballroom and added a personal touch by projecting their wedding emblem around the room on a light gobo. The sunset ambience can be relived through the video highlight below.
To add a personal touch, we were also asked to design 2 signature cocktails and name them to be served to guests as a welcome drink. With help from Royale Chulan’s Banquet theme, we designed 2 drinks in sunset shades with the names Gracefully Guava and Gaga-n-deeply in love.
